    Ears won't stretch any more?
I'm currently at a 2 and tried stretching to a 0 the other day and it won't go through. I got the taper halfway through and then it just wouldn't go any more and there was a little bit of blood even. This has never happened to me ever before so I don't know what to do. Advice anyone?

No idea what you are explaining ?
What are your stretching, your ears ? Why ? Somebody else's ears ?

How long have you been at a 2? If it has been a while, try rubbing some coca butter onto your lobes to soften them- please wait until you are completely healed though. Lubrication feels so much better. Some people have good luck right after a shower. You don't want to blow your ear out- take it easy.

About a month. I guess I'm just going to try waiting a bit longer until I try again. And tickle, I had no idea people stretched other peoples ears, that sounds sort of awkward to me, so I'm sorry for not being specific enough lol but yes I'm trying to stretch my own ears because I want to?

LOL, okay I getcha. I sort of understand you meant stretching your ears, but I really couldn't believe someone would want to do that to what, your lobes ? I would think that would be really unnatractive. For what purpose other then just wanting to because what you do know won't be reversible later on.

Up to a certain size can be reversible, but if you have a blowout it may scar you too much to return to normal.

Hi mugger, why don't you explain what the OP means entirely and we can all know what is going on. I have never heard of someone st retching ear lobes to any extent. Thanks for your input.

    Hey Tick!

This is what it looks like.
I personally don't like it but it is becoming more and more popular and I know quite a few people who have them, and yes if you go too big then you can be left with a permanent saggy hole.
If you don't go too big then it can shrink back to normal, it's a gamble.

My partner really wanted one a while back, I wouldn't let him get one, we settled on a fake one instead that he never wore

Oh my... I didn't know that sort of 'body art' existed... I've known that some african tribes do these to their lips; the larger the hole, the higher status they have, but I would have never imagined that this too would one day be a sort of fashionable thing

It has become a sort of a fashion lately. Different cultures have different meanings behind their adornments.
I have mine at 7/8". It does take a big commitment to go very big, but that's what I do for a living, so it's almost an advertisement, lol.

All this is really is stretching a piercing to a bigger size. You can achieve this look 2 ways. Either stretching or punching. Punching is quick and is done with a tool much like a leather punch or paper punch. The later of those being very painful. It may look like it really hurts to stretch, but I would say stubbing your toe would hurt a lot worse.

Don't do it, that's what, not the greatest idea unless you want your ears drooping past your knees when you get older, and it doesn't even look good, its very unattractive. But just my opinion.

All right I definitely didn't ask for anyone's opinion on whether I should stretch my ears, I obviously already started lol all I asked is what to do to help get to a 0. to the few that actually gave me advice or weren't rude, thank you.

Well you got my opinion, and yeah I get the point you already started, but sorry to say, if its not going to stretch you clearly have to give it more time, and there are many cases where your ears actually rip because the gauge of the ring is to large, its all because the ear lobes aren't meant to be stretched which is obvious, but people do it because they like it which I get, but it was all my opinion on it, and I wasn't being rude about it I was stating a true fact, its what happens when you do that.

I wouldn't call that a true fact. The OP was only looking for info not opinion on what people think of it.
Done correctly, the lobe shouldn't tear. Of course if you try to shove a pencil through a pore, then you deserve every bit of pain and scarring your simple brain has talked you into doing.
I think the question has been answered.

I've been having the same issue with the same sizes and I blame it on the greater differences in sizes as you go up. My plan is to put a layer of tape on my 2g taper and on my plugs and slowly increase the diameter in between gauges. It's meant to be done with 00g+ but it sounds much less painful. Good luck!

Yes taping is a way to slowly stretch. Some fellow colleagues of mine use bondage tape, while I use weights.

Tape is the easiest way for me. And I find it pretty quick too. I can add about 3 layers every 2 or 3 days and my ears never hurt.

However my left ear is being a stubborn (just like yours seem to be doing) and won't stretch anymore past half inch. I shoved a 5/8 through and it had addapted but at the price of a good size blowout.

My right ear is at and inch and its always been super stretchy and great.
Anyway I don't know, I'd say buy some Jajoba oil because it thickens your skin and makes it a little bit more elasticky.

I think the process of ear stretching is AWSOME! It is virtually painless, and I very cute. I am currently at a 0g in both ears. And if I ever decide to take them out, they will shrink back to their normal size, due to the elasticity on our skin. Have fun with stretching. And good luck
