    Installation if shower compression drain
Hello, I'm installing a new shower pan from Florestore and it came with a compression drain. It looks very simple. The shower pan drops in over the 2 inch drain and you just have to shove in the rubber compression ring around the drain. I'm having a tough time getting this sucker in. Do you have any tips for this? Is there some sort of lubricant I can use besides hot water? Thank you in advance.

Yes, I use plumbers grease or any good silicone grease will do. Be sure to brace that drain pipe from below otherwise you will push down and it will spring back up an inch or so.
