I am told there is a new law in Florida about not smoking in the common areas of a condo, this would mean the pool area, garage, catwalk, etc. I have searched the "clean air act" but can only find information on commercial properties.

If you ask the condo assoc. they should have a memo on it if it effects their building.
It could possibly be for HUD buildings only or something. If they don't have something you could call your local towns building inspector
