Are you sexually active? If so, it could indicate an STD.

I also want to think that it could be a bladder or kidney infection.

Whenever there is blood in an unexpected place or time it is always best to contact your doctor as soon as possible.

    Hi Dc5,
Yes, I suspect you probably do have some sort of urinary tract infection. From what you describe, it could possibly be your prostate, which would be considerably more common in men. Either way, I would definitely have a doctor, preferably a urologist check it out, to confirm or otherwise diagnose. If it is an infection, it can in many cases be fairly easily treated with a few weeks of antibiotics.
Hope you get it treated soon. Take care.

Usually no, but have you had oral sex?

You have left out a lot of info, we can only guess.

Yes, it is natural, and that is okay. Do you have a fever? You really need to talk to your mom or dad and get a doctor's appointment. This could most likely be a kidney infection. Bladder infections don't tend to produce blood, but kindey infections do.

Both of them can, but a kidney infection is more likely. This is not unusual, and nothing you did wrong. I have had several in my time. It just happens sometime.

    Hi Dc5,
There is absolutley nothing wrong or unnatural about masturbation, and it is very unlikely that it has anything whatsoever to do with this. Though this is something you should definitely have checked out by a doctor soon. Just do be careful that you aren't applying anything to your skin that is chemically irritating, or perhaps causing an allergenic reaction of sorts.

I agree with J_9. The most likely cause would be your kidneys or your prostate. Pain in your lower back, or possibly your groin could be the prostate. Otherwise, it is more likely your kidneys; which could also produce pain under your ribs, in close to your spine.

I still want to know the age Thomas, if VERY young, prostate is probably not the cause.

Kidney problems do not always have other symptoms. It depends on the kidney problem. In general, yes it will cause a "lower back ache" but not always, there could be underlying problems that only a kidney panel will show.

No, almost no chance, if any, that you have an STD without some sort of sexual relations. Nothing to worry about there.

I agree with Thomas there. NO STD if you have never had vaginal or oral sex.

Make a doctor's appointment first thing in the morning. Preferably an appointment with a urologist.

You need to get an appointment with your doctor to make sure things are okay. This is imperative in case there is a VERY serious situation going on that we CANNOT diagnose over the internet.
