Its been annoying me for years but I remember this movie when I was a kid...

It was very much like the Goonies and had this kid who was exploring around a big lake and there was supposed to be something in it like a monster.

Anyway... movie goes on and its comes to the end where its pouring it down like torrential/hurricane weather and he falls in the lake and the monster comes out of the water but it isn't a monster, it's a crane machine... lake gets drained eventually and its full of digger's and other machinery...

ITS ANNOYING ME SO MUCH!! :confused:

Hey, I saw that movie in the 80`s. I don`t know the name either.
