What is the standard R22 to ton ratio?
I can find any info to make me understand what you are asking, sorry I`m sure someone will be along that can help you
Maybe if you told us more info and what it is you are trying to figure out
I'm at a loss also. What's your real question?
Ton - is the total BTU capacity of a system. Going back to "class," a ton is equal to the BTUs required melt one ton of ice in a 24-hour period. Since there are 12,000 BTUs in a ton, a 3-ton air conditioning will produce 36,000 BTUs and so forth. The size of the area to be cooled determines the correct the system in tons. It s mportant to note that actual capacity is not constant and will change outdoor or indoor temperatures. The pulished capacity rating of air conditioners and heat pumps based on performance at the ARI standard temperature levels of 95 F outside, 80 F inside
Yea!! What he said, :):):)
Yep, I agree,, I think... now what was it you were asking?
I though the question was "pounds of R22 per ton of refrigeration".
No such ratio.
It does not say pounds
It says
What is the standard R22 to ton ratio
lol
On split systems, rule of thumb is around 1-2.0pounds of freon per ton, depending on the length of the refrigerant piping. May be a little higher with higher seer rated units, due to larger surface areas of condenser and evap.
