Does an employer in Arizona have to operate by a certain time frame for termination? My sistuation occurred April 17th 2009 but I wasn't fired till May 12th 2009 with no warning or write up.

Most states are at will states which means an employer can terminate you whenever they want for whatever reasons they want (except for protected classes against discrimination).
