I'm about to give birth to a little girl, I'm 38 weeks but had unsafe sex with another guy on December 27th and on the 29th I'm not sure when I conceive and I'm so ashamed to ask my doctor.. I have irregular periods and my last menstrual was on 10/6/08 my doctor says that by the dates and all the crap that doctors check he says that he is going to go as 11/24/08 for my last period... I'm so confused, I have been married for 8 years and have a 6 year old daughter with my husband I will go crazy if this baby is not my husbands. We have had some issues in our relationship he became an alcoholic and that made our relationship upside down I know that is not an excuse to go out and cheat on him, but is done... please write back, thanks.

Only a paternity test can tell you for sure who the father is. If the baby is not your husband's you will not go crazy. You will deal with it the best you can.

Does your husband know that there is a possibility the baby isn't his? If it were me, as hard as it would be, I think it would be better that he know before she is born. But they won't be able to tell you until after a dna test after she arrives. Good luck and keep us posted.

I agree with mammaoftwoboys it would be a better scenario to tell your husband before your baby is born and arrange a paternity test soon after the birth, the sooner you get this situation sorted the better it will be for your unborn child x
