With your other post if he is not going to listen to your commands that is what you need to work on first before determining what he might be capable of

Every dog is different, every breed is different and even breeds that are normally great at agility sometimes don't do well with it.

It depends on the dog and on you. Agility requires a lot of patience a lot of training and a lot of time. Are you willing to do that? Is your dog?

    Exactly right...

Any dog can do agility, from a great dane to a chihuahua, it all depends how much training you are prepared to put in.

At the beginning you are looking at at least an hour of solid training everyday, perhaps even twice a day.

You need to start with basic obedience training before thinking about moving onto the agility apparatus.

If your dog won't listen to your commands (sit, stay, come etc.) then they aren't going to be able to understand what you want them to do with the equipment.

Most of the equipment can be easily made at home to practice on, you will need to do this if you serious about competing as they key to becoming great is practice practice practice!
