Is this too girly or fruity? Ideas?
My really good friend that I've known is going away to college, and I wanted to get her a little something as a gift. I saw this online and I thought this would be nice but I want to know your guys opinions. I'm a boy and she's a girl of course, so this is what I thought would be nice. CNS Direct - Custom Personalized Gifts Image Viewer I thought it was nice but I don't know if its too girly or fruity? What do you guys think?

Do you think she'll like it? That's all that matters.

Yea I mean I think she'll like it but I don't want to make it out to be like I'm a f** or something

If she really is your friend and knows you well enough to consider you a best friend, then she'll understand your motives. Not only that, but most girls would find a gesture like that sweet, not question your sexuality because of it.

I know lots of girls in my life that had them.
You keep half and she gets the other half
I don't think it matters who gets which.

I say go for it. I think its super sweet for you to do. If she is anything like I am she will always keep it and think of you when she looks at it. It's a wonderful gesture.

Yea I think it will be a good thing for her, I just hope she doesn't see it as a girly thing to do.

Well, you are the one here who really knows her. Also, I wonder why you say that she might be thinking of it to be too 'girly'. A gift from the heart is the best git you can give to her.

No I meant to say does it look to girly, basically is it something that a guy would buy for her?

You can safely buy that. I was wondering that because if she often referred to some things as 'girly', then perhaps. But if she was an okay person, that won't do any harm, on the contrary, that'd be very good. :)

Are you willing to wear your half?
    Girly or not?

She will like it, it's up to you whether you will be willing to show off your piece.

Actually, the person who gets it as a gift is supposed to get the right half (in this case -st -nds, but it varies).

Something about the "left side" being where the heart is (actually, it's centered, but most people think it's on the left) and stuff like that. Don't really get it, but I follow the tradition! :D

    You don't wear a keychain! :p;)
But, I completely agree with your point! (See below, for elaboration.)

Anyway, only you can answer your own question.
You are not gay. But, please, don't use "fag" in a derrogatory sense.
If she is your best friend, then she knows this.

    Will she like it?
Do you think she will save her half until the next time you meet?

If both of those answers are yes, then you should get it.
If she won't like it, then that's self explainatory.
If she won't keep her half, and you do, or she keeps it, and you don't, then it becomes awkward at your next reunion, as it questions your commitment as friends. Trust me, I've been in that situation once, it's not fun.

Honestly coming from a guy it is kind of fruity, in my opinion anyway. Just like the shape and stuff. But if you guys are really good friends it shouldn't matter at all cause its really pretty and a nice gift either way(:
