How old are you? I too was skinny like that until about 2 years ago. Then, when I hit 40 the pounds came on, along with it the high blood pressure.

Has the doc told you that you were too thin? Does he recommend you gain?

You can try squats to build up your gluteus muscles. Muscle weighs more than fat. So maybe try going to a gym.

Skipping breakfast is kind of a bad thing for your body, so on the way out grab a banana or a cup of yogurt so that you have more energy to work out, and gain that muscle.

As long as you are eating healthy and not skipping any other meals than breakfast (i.e.) as long as you are not in danger of being anorexic... than you should be OK. Consider yourself lucky. Being over or underweight is only a problem if you are living an unhealthy lifestyle. Eating a banana or a granola bar on the drive to work may sove your breakfast dilema, but it may just be your body type that keeps you at the weight that you are at. No worries.

I think you are healthy, many people skip breakfast around the world and still are healthy. Try having something on the run if you are worries, like a banana, those 'up and go' shake things or like a 'special k' bar.

You are probably just naturally thin. Which is good, and you should not try and change that unless a doctor tells you to. Your bmi does not calculate other factors and so is not very accurate. Aslong as you are eating and not trying to lose weight then you are just naturally thin, which can be a good thing :)

Skipping Breakfast can be bad for your body. You should have at least 3 meals a day, but as ong as you are eating something, you should be OK.

Sorry, but 'I don't have time for breakfast' isn't very feasible... I usually skip breakfast too but not because I don't have time - but because I prefer to lie in as opposed to getting up early enough to get a proper breakfast.

Just 15 minutes makes the difference between a good start and a bad start to the day. Get up earlier and eat eat eat!

I'm in the same situation and I recently had a consultation with my doctor. She told me to start eating as much protein as possible from protein bars or shakes (you should try the Speacial K protein stuff) and work out. It's best if you lift weights or try to build up muscle in certain areas. Also, taking a multivitiman may be helpful.
