I am taking the steps for one of the 2 surgeries. Does anyone have any advise who has been through it? Once I get my Psycholigical assessment done, I go to the surgeon. What steps will the surgeon have me do besides lose 10% of my body weight? How long does it take before I get the surgery?

Bypass or Lapband, which is more effective.

I just found out that I have to go to a class before I get the assessment done. What else should I be prepared for?
