    2 different medicines
    Hi I have been taking over the counter tylenol cold severe.. and I was just wondering if it is OK for me to take the over the counter advil pm so that I can go to sleep at night... because my cold is keeping me up at night... but I don't know if I can mix the different kinds..

    You shouldn't take them together at the same time. But if you took tylenol in the morning or afternoon, you should be fine taking the advil in the evening before bed. Just don't take the advil before you would take more tylenol. For example, if you took tylenol at 6pm, you wouldn't take more at 8 pm so don't take advil so soon after either.

    O OK cause I figured since only one of them contain acetaminophen that it would b OK.. cause I know you can't mix 2 medicines that both have acetaminophen in them..
