    Now I'm spotting/bleeding and cramping
Me again. I'm still new and not sure if this should have been a comment added on to a previous thread or if its OK to post a new question. But here it goes. Its 8 days after ovulation, 7 before I am to start my period. I started spotting last night before I went to bed. I put a pad on and went to bed. I woke up about an hour later because of a pain (not terrible, but uncomfortable) on my lower left side. This morning the pad had a little blood but not much. Pinkish. Now I'm bleeding a little more. Still not like a regular period at all as I haven't had to use anything other than a pad. I've felt sick all day, like diarrhea type cramping but I don't feel like I need to use the restroom. I guess my question is, is there anyway to know if this is implantation or just an early period? I'm very regular with a 28 day cycle but I know there are many reasons I could start early. Thank you so much for putting up with me and all my nervous questions! :)

I can't tell you for sure what is causing this, but typically, implantation does not cause that much spotting or cramps. Actually, most women do not experience any spotting or cramps with implantation.

Give it a day or two and if nothing has improved, call your doctor.

Thanks you. I actually had spotting with both of my pregnancies. But I don't think I'm pregnant now. Its pretty much turned into a normal period. I'm trying not to be too disappointed but I'm pretty emotional today. Just got to try again next month!
