    Menstrual cramps
    Hi All,

    I need some help. I have this close friend who's having her periods...

    She told me she's got these pains today. Is thre anything I can do to help her. I really would like to help.

    Evryone gets them and they aren't fun.

    I get a hot water bottle and hold it against my stomach, it really helps.

    Another alternative is go for a walk, sounds strange but for some reason if I keep moving it makes the pain not as bad.

    Last resort is pain relief tablets, supermarkets or pharmacys sell ones specifically for period pain.

    She could try taking some Ibuprofen, which is said to help relieve menstrual cramping.
    Try using a heating pad
    A nice long warm bath
    Lie down in the fetal position
    Take a walk
