I am in the process of writing a book. It's a compilation of metaphysical properties of stones. While I'm working on it I would also like to find some publishers who might be willing to publish it so I can research them a bit. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, any other suggestions involving becoming a published author would not be turned down ^_^

I always tell people to get it copywritten first because my friend started Veggie Tales back in 1980 and her publisher stole it off her and sold it and she didn't get a dime out of it from that point on.

At this point I just want to have a few options in mind so I can research them to find out about their policies and contracts and whatnot. I'll be sure to copyright it when it's done, even if it's the artist's shortcut (mailing a copy to myself via certified mail and not opening it).

Does anyone have any suggestions? Even suggestions on how to go about finding a publisher would be appreciated.
