I dyed my hair a light brown and it turned orange red and so I dyed dark brown and it turned black and some parts look light brown. If I dye it a cool brown from garnier nutrisse nutri-browns will it go to a dark brown? Or what color should I dye it so I can get I a dark brown color?

I would suggest going to a hair stylist for this job. I care so much about hair and don't even trust my own hands to dye it, I always need a professional!

You should dye it with a pre-lightener first, such as Loreal superblonde prelightener (which is what I use) because your going to have to strip the dye which is currenlty on your hair out before dying it with a dark brown hair dye. I also suggest that you don't actually use a dye which has "dark brown' on the box, as they have the tendency to turn black all the time, which happened to me :( so you should use one which is a medium or natural brown. But I guess that depends on your hair.
