    Getting no spark at plug
    Snapper SR1433 with 14 HP Kohler motor. Won't start. Took plug out & tested -not sparking when you turn motor over. HELP

    Hi,
    First I would suggest unplugging the ignition ground which is part of the wiring on the left side near the carb. The charging system and possibly the fuel shutoff solenoid could be in it also. This will separate the engine from the rest of the machine and you can repeat your test for fire to find out if it the engine or the rest of the machine where the fault is.
    Still no fire; time for an ignition module. Has fire; bad safety switch .

    Just to be clear, when you tested your plug for spark was the side of the threads grounded to the engine? The plug must be grounded to get spark.
