    Changing the names of woners on a Deed.
    What are the exact steps to chnaging a deed from one owner to 2 owners? Does the tilte automatically change? Thanks anry much

    In order to change a deed the current owner must prepare a new deed transferring the property to the new owners. Yes, the title automatically changes.

    Technically, you are changing the title, not "changing a deed". A deed is a piece of paper effecting title. You are executing a new deed which has the effect of modifying the title.
