Not necessarily. It depends on who you rent from. If they will be checking your credit and references, honesty is the best policy. It also depends on the reason you give for why you are having to file for bankruptcy; and if you have enough money for first and last month's rent and perhaps a security deposit. Basically, your new landlord will need to be convinced that you will pay your rent on time and in full every month.
