    My period's lasting too long
Well, A few months ago, I had my normal, regular period. It ended two days before I started dating my boyfriend. We had sex, and a couple days after, my period started again. I was worried that it may be a sign of pregnancy, because I already had it that month... It ended up being 2 weeks long... I took a pregnancy test, and I'm not pregnant. The next month, I didn't have it. Now this month, I'm having my period again, and it's already been two weeks, and still hasn't ended. There's no pain, and it's normal flow, but why is it lasting so long? It's worrying me.

Are you fairly young? Sometimes teens, especially, will find they occasionally have irregular cycles.

Since it is not the norm for you and it has now happened twice, best to have your doctor check things out. There are a number of possibilities, such as poylps, that can cause irregular bleeding.

Also, birth control is a great idea if you don't want to be pregnant and want a steady predictable cycle.
