Ceiling fan running at half speed.
I have a Hampton Bay 3-speed fan that runs about half speed on all 3 settings... still runs 3 different speeds both forward and reverse, but each speed is about 50% of what it was previously. Any ideas on the problem/solution? Fan number e75795... Thanks!

Probably capacitor. Look for bulges. Not always there.

Do you also have pull chains?

Yes, a pull chain for the three speeds plus "off". The switch on the wall is standard, not rheostat. Do you have another idea?

Yep, and order the replacement cap from Hampton Bay.
