Have a 1999 ford f150 troble code po316. It says nothing in the book about 316 it goes from 306 and skips all the way to 320. What could it be

P0316 = Engine Misfire Detected on Startup (First 1,000 Revolutions).

So how do I fix it or what steps do I need to take to fix it

Start by replacing the spark plugs--the exact Motorcraft plugs that came in the truck (properly gapped). No cross-reference plugs. If the problem persists, replace the coil.
