80s futuristic martial arts tournament movie?
I am trying to figure out the name of this 80s movie. It is a futuristic movie about a blond guy in outer space in a fighting tournament. I really don't know if he is on another planet or just in a huge space ship, but I don't believe he is on earth. I want to say his dad was the last human to win this tournament too. He has to fight a couple different matches with different aliens before he gets to the final match against the reigning champ. Someone decides to sabotage the match and does something to the lights above the arena that has an affect on the human. He goes on to win. That's really all I have
