(Bio Claire is now also known to have steroids in it as their "bio vegetal activator" even though it's not listed specifically)

Thanks for the list mercury is in so many everyday things that people don't even think about. It is good to know exactly what to watch for.

Yeah, we should stay far away from that mess!

I'm still learning about Hydroquinone. Personally, I'm beginning to think that it maybe OK in not so large doses and temporary and then switch to something else... but that would be a last resort thing. Even dermatologists prescribe it, as long as it isn't abused.

A side note : most gels are dangerous. Be careful.

I think it has trace steroids in it too... It didn't even work for me anyway.

The list I found on the Whiterskin site under Banned Skin Bleaching Products. This isn't a complete list of all of the skincare products, but a few. Feel free to add any other hazardous skin lighteners we should avoid.
