    My Kittens eye is swollen.
My 3 month old kittens eye is swollen and red, to the point he can't open his eye. He is an indoor Kitten and never has been outside. We just recently (about 2 weeks ago) got another kitten that's about a month old, they have been the best of friends. He has been happy go lucky until today. Early he looked like he was having a problem opening his eye all the way but I didn't think anything of it. And about an hour ago I noticed it was swollen shut. I don't have enough money to bring him to the vets.. does any one know what it could be? Or can you think of anything I can do? Please anything will help, I'm so concerned.

At least call the vet and talk to a vet tech. He/she may suggest something.

Your cats are going to need shots and neutering and occasional emergency vet care (like now). Talk to an animal shelter in your area that offers certificates for vet care or that knows of programs for low-cost vet care. Or work something out with a vet. Otherwise, you are not being fair to the kittens.

I'm current feeding a feral cat that needed food and then decided to have five kittens. (We will trap her and get her spayed as soon as the kittens have been weaned.)

Sure, post a picture of your kitten.

How did you end up with a kitten as young as 4 weeks? Kittens should stay with their mom until at least 10-12 weeks.

It was the runt and the mother would not feed her so I took her in and I bottle feed her.
