Craftsman dlt 3000 6 speed tranny slips in and out of gear at will does not have all gears

The shift keys have been chipped or rounded by shifting whild moving.

Hi,
Depends on your level of skill. Transaxle has to be removed and opened. The keys attach to the shift collar and ride in slots in the shaft with the gears on it.
