I was cought shoplifting 20 years ago an item that did not cost more than 20 dollars in Canada, I was a visitor from another country they send mi to court I said a was guilty I paid the fine and was sent back to my country.
I want to know if I have a criminal record in Canada and if I do what do I have to do to apoligized. I want to visit canada and I am afraid they won't give me a visa.

I don't think you have to worry about a criminal record for shoplifting 20 years ago, gigi. Why don't you check with your own consulate before travelling, just to make sure. Your passort has to be active anyway, if it is not, get it renewed, and then you will find out while it is being renewed.
