    I have a infected toothe the ruptured and have not had time to go to the dentist and I am allergic to all the penacillen family what else can I take till I get to the dentist

    You need to see the dentist now for some sort of antibiotic until you can have your tooth either pulled or tended to. You will not be able to get any sort of antibiotic over the counter. Please do not delay the dentist as an infection can run rampant through your body causing more problems than you can imagine.

    I agree with twinkie, get to a dentist ASAP. There are lots of alternatives for those with penicillin allergies. It is definitely not something we can recommend here on this board. Sorry.

    Yeah you need to go to the dentist! Do NOT take Amoxicillin, or cephalosporins even if you have extra (you'll get a reaction)
