Hello. I am on probation for marijuana trafficking charges from Nebraska in duluth, Minnesota because I live here with my family. I do NOT smoke marijuana anymore and have been clean for awhile now. I have turned my life around for the better. My question is, I would like to start touring around other states with my band(we play metal, rock, punk rock, ska), is this possible since I'm on probation? :confused:We are in the works of getting a record deal and plan for much success soon.:D Thank you kind folk for your help.

Travel permits are for ONE time visits with verifiable addresses. Nobody is going to give you an open ended travel permit...

How long is your probation for? Can't you wait until then? Excon is correct about the travel permits stuff.

For 3 years. I read some things that said they alow you to leave for up to 30 days at a time... not sure though. You think if we were only gone that long or if I flew back to check in it would be okay? I've also heard about people in my situation checking in at each town they visit.

Im sorry if I come across as obnoctious. I just need the chance to do something with my life that is meaningful, the one thing I truly enjoy, and prove to the ones I love that I'm not a faliure. Ive been dreaming of this my whole life... but I got lost along the way. My emotional problems I've been dealing with for the past few years(ive only recently learned to master them for love and not hate) have led me to make some very bad decisions, like being envolved with illegal activity and people that only led me to this, which is only making it more difficult to reach my goal. Which I will reach. I know the power of the human mind. The world is what you make of it.. someone living in fear and worry will only get in return a life of fear and worry... I know what I must do. Which is to live in love and know exactly where I'm going, and I will be there. I won't let anything stand in my way. We have a message to bring to the world, a message people must learn before humanity is truly lost within there own fear, anyone who took time to read this take this information with you.. you must love your enemy as yourself before anything will change in this world.
