Period on and off for a month
So I know there was a lot of topics about having a period last awhile. But I thought id ask anyway. So in the beginning of July I got my period. It stopped right before I went on vaction and sure enough on my way to the airport I got it again. Lasted about 5 days. That's about how long they usually last. So it stops and not even another week later at the last week of July I got it again but this time I still have it (and its now the second week of august) I tried calling my doctor to talk to her about this because I am a little concered. To find out she moved out of state and that I need to make a new patient check up with my new doc who my insurance told me. I just now have to do that but that will take sometime to get in to see them. I'm just concerened and have no idea who to ask. So I hope someone can help. Its not a heavy period. And I have no cramping. It goes from darker to bright red and back and forth.

Stress, illness, diet, cysts and more can all contribute to wacky cycles.

There are so many possibilities, only a doctor can provide correct information based on an exam.

If it takes to long to get an appointment, go to your insurance website and look for other doctors who accept your insurance. Many times an insurance will "recommend" a physician, but that doesn't mean you have to see them -- or that the doc is right for you.

Just find one that accepts your insurance and can get you in soon.
