Could I be pregnant if I took the morning after pill (within 48 hours) and have had two periods since then? I ask because I think I may have gained a pound or two since then and am curious if it is nervous eating or because I could be pregnant. (I'm naturally skinny so gaining weight is not normal for me).

If you've had two periods since taking it I think that might be a pretty good sign that you aren't pregnant. This could be water weight. It could be from eating a large meal but you don't start gaining weight from a pregnancy until approximately the 4th month. If you are that concerned about the possibility, take a pregnancy test.

Thank you! If I didn't know every person in the town I live in, I would take one immediately. However, getting to take one is a challenge and I'm hopeing tomorrow I'll get the chance to. Thanks again though, this definitely helps put my mind at ease.

Who cares if people see you buying a pregnancy test? If you are worried about confidentiality then go to your doctor to have the test or go to planned parenthood.

I'm only 19.. buying a pregnancy test does not look good to this town lol. I do not have a car so I'm trying my hardest to set up something to go to Planned Parenthood as soon as possible. They were very pleasant about everything and incredibly understanding!
