    Dating Multiple People Rules
I was dating a guy for almost two months until I got an email from some girl claiming to be his girlfriend that he had dated for two weeks about a month after we started to date. She ended up not being his girlfriend but a jealous girl who broke into his email and found out the hard way that he was dating others too.

Now granted, we never had that "exclusive" talk but at the same time, I feel that I should have been told AT LEAST after almost two months that he was dating others still. I don't find anything wrong with dating other people as long there is an understanding with both parties of what is going on for emotional sake and as well as health.

He feels that he was in the right and that he didn't have to tell me seeing as we weren't exclusive and I was aware of that status.

We both came to the conclusion that its pretty much Roe Vs. Wade in this situation but I can't help but wonder what other people think about this...

    Thoughts?

His fault: Not telling you that you weren't the only person he was dating.
Your fault: Assuming and not asking if you were the only person he was dating.

Poor communication leads to hurt feelings.

I agree with you they should at least tell but you need to ask. Even if they lie at least you did ask. Then they have no excuse for not being honest.

He should have told you, but it's too late now.

Did he do something wrong? I don't think so. As you said, you two weren't exclusive, to me that would mean that you're still free to date other people, it would be assumed. But, he still could have mentioned it.

Of course you could have asked too. ;)

    Like Justy said, bad communication.

It's better that you found out now before you got too deep into this relationship.

Gosh, where is the privacy nowadays?
This is crazy, someone breaks into others' emails. OP, stay away from all these dramas.
