I am frequently getting the message that my system, running XP has recovered from a serious problem caused by Nvidia GeForce mx/mx driver. What do I need to do to solve this please?

Try installing the newest drivers from NVIDIA's website, and see if that makes any difference.

I would go to the device manager and uninstall the video drivers and then reboot the system and let windows xp reinstall the drivers. If this does not work, then you may download the drivers from the nvidia website.
