Hi have a mtd yardman 5hp tiller was using it the other day turned it off and came back out checked oil where there was a white fill plug filled it with oil when started a big cloud of oil came out and it quit what did I break ? The model # is 21aa 412a352 the row of#s below it is 1622256 it's a 5hp ohv briggs eng any help will be appreciated

Hi,
Best I could find was a 2003 model with OHV and 5HP. They changed the engine decals for 2004. It had the correct machine number (412) but not the correct vendor number (352 is the number for who they made it for, and it was not Yard-Man or Yard Machine.)
I will add a picture that shows two possible caps, one right and one wrong. If it was #21 it was right; if it was #415 it was wrong and overfilled. It would be time to drain and start again. Engine only holds 20 oz. from empty to full.
