Well I just turned 18 and I have been trying to get pregnant now for about 4 months! A couple of months ago I went to the hospital and they told me I had PID... I took the medication to get rid of it right away but I still don't know if it had any effect on my body... my boyfriend and I have unprotected sex and we have sex at least 2 times a day... I have been slept with quite a few men in my past and I want to know if these things are going to prevent me from getting pregnant... :confused: I really want a baby and its so fustrating that every time I get my hopes up I get my period... and I can't afford any of those expensive infertility treatments... :( I don't know what to do any more...

Doctors will not diagnose or even send you for treatment until you have been trying to conceive for 1 year, some doctors wait for two years. So you need to be patient. As well having sex 2 times a day can actually limit the chanches of you becoming pregnant. There is only 3 days in each month where you are most fertile and having sex every other day around your fertile time will give you a better chanch of conceiving. Positions, Not getting up right away after the act. Elevating your legs. Or and chanches are if you both orgasm at the same time it will push the sperm into the area it needs to go.

So, before trying to get pregnant at such a young age. You may want to have your boyfriend tested. There is a great chance that this STD you have can be passed back and forth from you to him and back to you.
