I have family member just arrested for leaving her kids in the cars at her job because she did not have anyone to watch the kids for her. I am few state always wondering what FL law is on abandonment. Would she get her kids back or will they be in the system?:confused:

Its up to the judge but I would venture to guess that IF she gets them back it will be after she completes a stringist list of requirements including whatever jail time she gets and parenting classes.

I doubt this will be abandoment, it will be child endagerment or abuse.

And personally I hope they never get the children back, there is no excuse for harming the children like this

I will add that most likely another family member if they step up should be able to get the kids
