We just found a male puppy approximately 3 to 5 weeks old. He has fleas REALLY bad. What should we do about that? I just read on another site to feed him whole milk mixed with an egg. Does anyone have any thoughts on that?

Well you should try to find its mother as it needs it to help him survive also you can buy puppy formula at your local vet.

Good thing you came here. There is an unlimited amount of nonsense on the net. Dogs can't digest the lactose in cows' milk. Raw eggs bring risk of food poisoning. Ignore anything else on that site. Emily is right, finding the mother would be best. Otherwise go to a pet supply in the morning for milk replacer. I doubt any of the 24 hour a day places like Wal-Mart would have it.

Take him to the vet... He/She will give you special stuff to put in his coat, give him a general health check and any "shots" he may need.
