You use Fernco Couplings, Flexible Couplings, Flexible Pipe Connectors, Fernco Fitting, Shielded Couplings, Fernco Donut, Pro-Flex Coupling, Large Diameter Couplings, Sewer, Drain, Waste, Plumbing Flexible Couplings, Plumbing Pipe Leak Repair | Fernco coupling. Cut off the hub at existing clay pipe. You want to connect into straight pipe, not into the Hub. Match the size of the each end of the coupling with O.D. of each pipe. Coupling are easy to install. Home Depot carries couplings up to 6" clay pipe diameter.

What size pipe do you wish to tie back to the main? What fitting do you wish to use? A wye or a combination wye and eighth bend? Milos correct. Cut the hub off and use shielded couplings, (see image) not rubber ones. Good luck, tom
