My husband and I have tried for pregnancy about 3weeks ago hoping for a baby. Now I have taken two pregnancy tests, and a blood test but everything seems to be negative and I have just finished my menstrual cycle. This is our first time trying and we were wonderring what went wrong:confused:

3 weeks isn't very long to try for a baby. Even a healthy fertile couple can take up to a year. Talking with your dr is a good idea. But it's too early to worry about not being able to get pregnant for now.

It took my husband and I a year to have our first child and now I am pregnant with our third child. You don't drop a healthy egg every month... and it only is able to be fertilized for about 24 hours... however, because sperm lives for about 5 days you can get pregnant about 6-7 days out of the month. The best time to get pregnant (on a 28 day cycle) is two weeks after the FIRST day of your last period. I would try four days before then two days before then on that day... and just in case you ovulate late two days after as well ;) but just know it can take awhile and typically a dr won't test anything until you have been trying for 6 months. It takes time to get pregnant, you need to realx a bit and wait longer before testing. As you said your only on your 3rd week of trying.talk to your doctor about planning, also start taking folic acid if your not already doing so. I wish you all the luck keep us posted
