I'm wiring my parents shed as I'm looking to be come electrician after high school, and I'm having a problem with wiring the receptacle's in the shed. I have it setup but I don't know if I should wire them in parallel or in series.

The shed has its own fuse box from the main box inside the house. And it will have a total of 14 receptacles to use with power tools, like drills, power saws, chain saws, and so on.

I heard the receptacle should be on their own circuit if they are to be used by power tools but I'm not sure, so I'm asking you guys.

You have to look at the loads and what might be on at the same time. Some receptacles might be dedicated like a table saw.

If this was general purpose you could use two circuits and wire every other outlet. Three circuits and wire every three. By every two, I mean as you walk around the room, skip and outlet.
That makes a lot of power nearby where your working rather than half on one side of the shed and half on the other.

It's better to pigtail the white and blacks inside the box rather than using the screws and daisy chain. If you daisy chain in this environment, use the screws. Also use a heavier grade outlet than the ones that cost 60 cents.
