My toilet is backed up and there is water backed up in my bathtub too how can I fix this

You have several options here.
1) you can pull the toilet and snake the drain from there **OR**
2) Rent a sewer machine and snake from the lavatory roof vent.
If you snake from the roof put out enough snake to reach the base and 18 feet more. **OR**
3) Snake the branch from the tub waste and overflow (see image)
