    What's wrong with me?
I've been in a serious relationship for 10 years and I have been having problems with premature ejaculations and erections problems for about the last 2 years or so. I'm fine during foreplay but for some reason within a few minutes for intercourse I ejaculate prematurely. Sometimes my girlfriend says that my penis feels semi-erect. I never used to have any kind of problem like this and this is the only woman I've been with for the last 10 years. I'm completely attracted to her, so I know she's not the problem. I'm embarrassed to discuss with anyone but my girlfriend and luckily found this embarrassed. I'm hoping someone has a clue what's going on with me I'm only 30 years old and don't want this to be the end of my sex life. Please help!!

First of all you should see your doctor to rule out any medical problems. If nothing is found, you could always try using a "ring" to make erections last longer (bought cheaply almost anywhere). Practice kegal muscle exercises to be able to hold back longer. And I know your girlfriend won't like this... but maybe cut back a little on the foreplay, maybe you're getting too excited for too long. Don't be embarrassed. Anything can effect erections, physical and psychological, including everyday stress. I would check with your doctor though, because it could be related to other things and don't worry it is more common than you'd think. ;)

I've gone to a doctor before and I was told that it could be all in my head. I think he's right to a degree, but I think getting in better shape would help. I have a family history of high blood pressure and similar issues. I kind of thinking that's where the problem lies.

Getting in shape certainly can't hurt. It can also help with stress because it releases endorphines, so you'll feel better overall. You are right about hypertension being linked to ED though. If you've never tried a ring, you might want to consider it. A lot of people use them, (even if they don't have a problem), to last longer. Whatever you end up doing, I hope it works out for you. Good luck. :)

Thanks I really appreciate the advice you gave me for my problem. I think I will give the ring a try and see how much it helps. Thanks peaches
