    Mold
I have been renting a house for 2yrs, about 8months ago we called our landlord and told him there was mold in our bathtub. He owns a contracting business, and sent one of his guys out to fix it. He only fixed half the problem and the mold grew back. We have called our landlord several time and told him that the mold is back, and he still has yet to fix it the right way. The last time we spoke he said that when he gets to it that it will take at least two days of the bathroom being unusable. We don't have a lease just a month to month agreement. I don't know what to do, if we make him mad I'm afraid he'll drastically raise our rent. I don't know what we're going to do for two days w/o a bathroom either. Does anybody know where NY state laws stand on this sort of issue?

If the "mold" is on the bath tiles, it is probably mildew which can be cleaned with over-the-counter cleaning solutions which you can get from the grocery store.

BAD MOLD happens where it is DARK and there is no air circulation which is probably not your bathroom.

Leave the shower curtain open after using the shower to allow the air to circulate AND use any vent fan while using the shower to extinguish the moist air from the bath... leave bath doors open when not in use.
