Where can I obtain a 5 wire capacitor (GY/5R/5BR/5GR) for a ceiling fan?
Where can I get a 5 wire capacitor module (GY/5R/5GR/5GR) for a ceiling fan? The module has a marking "CGE" which may the manufactures ID. It is 10 ufd/5 ufd at 250 VAC. The module is for a "Century Model 52" fan. I live in Mexico, and the fans manufacturer, and model number could have been changed when it was imported. I believe that it could have been manufactured by Hunter.

If I had the Hunter Model number, I could possibly find a schematic or wiring diagram for the module. If I cannot get a replacement part, I could use individual components to replace the module, but I must first know what exactly is inside of the sealed module, and how it is wired.

    I personally prefer CeilingFanParts.com Home

But the best option is always to contact the fan manufacturer, if possible.
