My dad just found out he needs heart bypass surgery, are are some good online resources for me to read up on?

He will most likely need the surgery but some things that are good for the heart are
Antioxidents -fresh fruits and vegetables
(If he is taking blood thinners this might not be good because it could thin the blood too much)

CO Q 10 (especially if he is taking cholestrol medicine)

Hawthorn berry helps regulate the heart
Seven flowers also regulates the heart

Some other things that are good for the heart are taurine, turmeric and some B vitamins

I don't know what combinations of these things would be good for him so it is best to check with an alternatives medicine doctor or ask your doctor about CAM therapy
