I just had my hair dyed a dark brown at a hair salon.. although it is probably really close to my original hair color I am not happy with it. I want more of a summer color.. light golden brown or blonde... how can I achieve this??

The best way to get a summery sun kissed look is to (I know you may not like this routine)
Put freshly squeezed lemon juice in your hair and sit in the sun for a bit, the sun naturally makes hair lighter but with lemon juice it really goes faster
Or, you could buy John Frieda shampoo and conditioner, I'm not sure HOW it works but I think it has some kind of bleaching agent in it, a very mild one to gradually lighten hair. Just like a sunless tanner works! It's super easy either way, and it'll look great. I tried the lemon juice just to put some streaks in my hair and it worked well! It doesn't damage hair like if you'd use bleach either.

Going from dark brown to blond will probably take more than lemon juice and sun. I don't know anything about the john freida shampoo. But why not just go back to the salon and have them fix it?
