My hair was bleached and is now a brassy yellow color. Is it a good idea for me to use a light golden brown color to get back a dirty blonde or light brown color?

From what I've been told, you need to get an ash hair color in your hair in order to diffuse the yellow brassiness in your hair. It should be a green base hair color which is usually an ash color. You might want to try an ash blonde or a light ash brown if you want to go a little darker.
