Moving out at the age of 17
Can you move out of the house into a different house with the other parent at the age of 17 in Texas?

It's possible but it depends on what the people that your living with at the moment say.:)

You have to be of legal age - 18 or out of school and emancipated - in order to decide where you want to live. However, if your non-custodial parent makes a Motion to transfer custody from the custodial parent you would have a great deal of input into the Judge's decision.

Keep in mind, though, that it could take some time to move through the Courts and by that time you could be 18 and able to decide for yourself.

Does that answer your question adequately?
