It would be too early to tell if you're pregnant.
Wait until your period is due. If you miss your period then try an hpt around 1 week after it's due.
What do you mean by "a birth control pill" did you take the morning after pill, are you on the pill, did you take just one pill.
More info is needed.
I had taken a contraceptive pill the day I had sex. I am not on any medication. Its been 10 days since I finished with my periods.
You took a birth control pill the day you had sex and not before, after, nothing?
That's not how birth control works. The pill needs to be taken daily in order for it to be effective.
Yes, you could be pregnant, sadly we can't tell you for sure, you'll have to wait and see.
If you aren't, then please, get a better form of birth control, what you are doing is not only not going to work, it's not good for you.
How long will it take to find out if I am pregnant or not? I am noticing that I have food cravings, my diet has increased also.
At one week after sex, any food cravings etc that you're experiencing is all in your head.
You'll have to wait until your next period is due, if it's late then take a home pregnancy test or go to the doctor for a blood test.
It's way too early to find out now, you'll have to wait, just like everyone else.
It's too soon to say. You just had a period so it seems unlikely that you are pregnant. As already mentioned, you will have to wait and see.
As for your cravings, it may just be that. Sometimes I get cravings and I know I'm not pregnant or PMSing. Sometimes I just want pretzels. Or a taco. You may just be in a mood for ____.
Have you been taking the pill regularly?
It's not a magical sperm-blocker, it works by consistently maintaining hormone levels similar to pregnancy in order to prevent ovulation, so you have to take it every day or as directed for it to do anything.
That said, spotting is a known side effect of oral contraceptives.
I have a question too..
Uhm, I'm experiencing continuous spotting maybe because I'm using pill.. then me and my partner have sex once even the spotting is continuous.. and I noticed that while we are doing it I bleed, is it because of the spotting or there is another cause?
I don't know if you are still on here or not but it is better if you start a new thread. It sounds like you are new to birth control or this is a new pill. If that's the case you are getting use to it, if not go see your Gyno. If I read the rest right maybe he should be a little careful with you.
No, Just unprotedcted sex. It takes a month for the pill to be effective even when changing one. You body might just be adjusting to the new one.
